ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
ACCESSIBLE TOILET(S)
Permanent accessible venue toilets are located on the West side of the community hall building with internal and external entry / exit points.
Portable accessible event toilets will also be in place to East side of the comminity hall gardens (back right upon entry).

Maali Storywalk festival adhears to the City of maali’s Disability access and inclusion Policy
PATHS AND TERRAin
The Pathway connected to the community gardens has a gentle slope. The path and lawn incline gradually from the hall to the outdoor performance space.
The guided Storywalk (optional) includes a short outdoor loop on a combination of paved paths and lawn. All activities on the storywalk will take place as close to these paths as possible to allow Participants, wherever Possible, to get close to the action. Some locations will be on grassed area’s, and a short traverse over uneven ground may still require mobility aids or needs assistance.
SEATING
The main stage for the evening of song, will take place in the Outer Amphitheatre performance space of the community hall Gardens. a paved area in front of the stage is reserved for wheelchair users and anyone who needs a flat surface to sit or stand. This area is Unrestricted viewing and follows a clear, strait path from the back of the hall for easy access.
Other seating will be located across the grassed slope. Getting to these seats will require travelling over grass and a small incline of stairs.
SOUND AND SENSORY CONTROL
Maali storywalk festival Adheres to Western Australia Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997
NOISE
amplification of sound will be kept at a low DB, supporting performers and audience experience, with sound-checks for performers conducted one (1) day prior to the event to mitigate abrasive or loud sounds during showcase.
LIGHT
The main stage lighting will feature performance lighting as a key element in it’s design without the use of Strobe or flashing hue lights.
QUIET ZONING
Quiet zones are A designated low-stimulation area, and will be available inside the lesser-hall of the main community hall. These spaces will have soft furnishings and minimal background noise as well as sensory Volunteers and Neurodivergent attendees stationed around the hall.
