StoryWalks
Continuing our ongoing commitment to Maali land and history, MSF Community leaders, and local residents will provide Guided walks through historic landmarks and locations with stories from elders and residents. Explore local history and personal tales in our full program.

THE STORY VILLAGE
Each year, our family workshops and storytelling sessions provide younger audiences to create, learn, build and connect with Maali history, and Noongar culture, creating a collage story decorative artwork, responding to Local community members own personal tales of their connection to Maali, and how everyday thing we see can create and shape our sense of home. This workshop is a shared experience between children and their parent or carer.

Music & Songs
Evening of live music and songs performed by local artists. Experience Maali’s past and present through song, rhythm and dance.

ARTISTS IN AMPLIFICATION WORKSHOPS
Join award-winning Wongutha born, Maali located Children’s Author and musician Kevin Wilson, leading all day workshops that explore knowledge sharing and fiction writing for children, showcasing how ongoing stories of Noongar Boodja and Maali history can provide a compass to help navigate an ongoing understanding of Maali country. Suitable for people all ages.
